Taiwanese Earthquake Affects Internet in Vietnam

What a horrible day to be online in Vietnam.  I have not been able to access Yahoo Messenger or Yahoo 360 all day.  Gmail takes ages to load up.  SaigonNezumi.com was inaccessible most of the day as well.  Only the Vietnamese websites were accessible throughout the day.

The culprit of all this mayhem, yesterday off the coast of Taiwan, a 7.1 magnitude earthquake damaged the underwater communication cables, including the internet lines, throughout East and Southeast Asia.  It could take up to 3 weeks before the internet gets back to normal.

Oh the misery…
