Back in Saigon and Tor

Submitted by on Sunday, February 11, 2007 – 8:26 amNo Comment |

I returned back in Saigon yesterday afternoon after spending some time in the Mekong Delta attending a funeral. I will update some interesting pictures from my trip to Vung Liem.

I plan to redesign the layout of my current blog in the next month. I need to update WordPress, the program I use to run the SaigonNezumi.com‘s weblog. I want to change the colors and use a little more green, my favorite color icon smile Back in Saigon and Tor The newest version of WordPress incorporates AJAX into the blogging engine making adding comments more easier for visitors.

There is a program out on the net promising to ensure your privacy while you are surfing the Internet. It is called Tor. Here is a brief overview or Tor:

Tor is a network of virtual tunnels that allows people and groups to improve their privacy and security on the Internet. It also enables software developers to create new communication tools with built-in privacy features. Tor provides the foundation for a range of applications that allow organizations and individuals to share information over public networks without compromising their privacy.

This project looks very promising. I highly recommend everyone download it, give it a try, and possibly make some donations if you can.
