I am Pockey Lam from Beijing LUG in China, Beijing LUG is co-organizing
the first GNOME.Asia Summit with GNOME Foundation this year in Beijing.

I decided to test my bandwidth speeds with both Speakeasy and Speedtest.  I am surprised at the speeds right now:

Speakeasy (Seattle server):

2402 kbps Download Speed
516 kpbs Upload Speed

Speedtest (Singapore Server):

2558 kbps Download Speed
319 kbps Upload Speed

How long this will last? Speeds have been improving in Vietnam. I actually expect things to improve even more by the end of the year.

Unfortunately, the filtering of websites still slows the internet down if you plan to surf on sites located outside of Vietnam.
