China cleans up corruption (Foreign Policy)
Very interesting article from the Foreign Policy. The second richest man in China, Huang Guangyu, has been arrested as part of an anti-corruption campaign. Chinese government officials accused to be on the take from Huang Guangyu have also been arrested. This campaign could possibly affect all the wealthy in China.
It will be curious to see if a similar anti-corruption campaign will be launched in Vietnam. You do read reports of Vietnamese government officials and business owners being arrested for corruption but it is not enough to deter graft here in Vietnam.
Maybe in the next 5-10 years…
