Sunspots returning?

Well, as I start getting back to blogging about my life in Saigon again, I decided to give an update on the sunspot situation with our Sun.  It seems that some activity are finally returning but not really much.  The below image was taken on Dec. 17, 2009:

I am not putting two and two together but the US and Europe got nailed by unusual snowstorms last week didn’t they?
