Last working day before Tet

Submitted by on Wednesday, February 10, 2010 – 6:26 pm3 Comments |

Today was my last working day before Tet, the Vietnamese New Year, holidays.  Tet will fall on February 14th this year.

I will spend Tet this year meeting friends and getting caught up on my IT projects.  SaigonNezumi.com will get a new theme during the Tet break as well.  If I am lucky, I may even get to spend a couple days on the beach.

Day 6 of Tet, which is on February 19th, many stores and businesses will open up.  My weightlifting gym closed today and will not open until the 19th.

This should be an interesting Tet and a wild one for those who decide to stay in Saigon.  Enjoy it, I predict the next Tet will be very gloomy for many Vietnamese next year.
