In District 1

Submitted by on Wednesday, April 14, 2010 – 11:10 pm2 Comments |

Well, it has been nearly a week since I moved to District 1.  I love my new room.  I am conveniently located near the New World Hotel on Nguyen Trai street just walking distance from the Pham Ngu Lao backpacking area.  My room is perfect, it is cleaned everyday and dust free!!!  My only complaint is a lack of a landline and slow ADSL which I hope to remedy sometime next week.

Anyway, below is a picture just a couple minutes walk from where I am staying.

ahh the new CK jean store. complete with upstairs neighbours hanging their laundry out above its crisp neon sign, so funny.

Talking about being in the middle of the action. Your new neighborhood promise to be lively. I think Ben Thanh Market is at walking distance too.

Glad you like your new room.
