A new website for city slickers who are too tired from a hard day’s work to venture out for some local food is www.eat.vn.

From the security of your laptop you can find that ideal meal with only a few clicks of your mouse and hey presto dinner is delivered right to your home.

The new enterprise has been launched in the city and will expand into Hanoi later this month.

Company owner Vu Tran Ngoc Uyen explained: “The basic concept is that when people normally order food they call a number and it is delivered to your door.

“With www.eat.vn you are spared that sometimes challenging phone call and not only can you order

direct from a website, you can browse through dozens of food menus without the hassle of raking through your home for old flyers for a menu and phone number. It is convenience for city workers who don’t even have to look away from their computer screen to order their favorite meal. ”
