The $%#@ Monthy Water Reading!

Wednesday, June 11, 2008 By kevmille

I hate this time of the month.  Between 6-7 AM, the water meter guy comes around the alleyway for the water meter reads.  If you are not at home, he will call your house telephone number and finally your mobile number.  He is persistent too and I am beginning to find this quite annoying, especially in the  early mornings.

I will SMS the water reading later to him but he will still try to come to my house.

In a couple days, the power meter guy will come by the alleyway as well.  With him, he just asks me to SMS the reading if I am not home.  Never been a problem though he gets made at me if I do not happen to have money on me to pay the electricity bills (I prefer to pay at the office most times).

I wish 🙂 Actually, I know he has a tough job getting people to pay so I do not mind, I just wish he would give me some time to SMS the reading.
