Bobby Brewers

Sunday, September 5, 2010 By kevmille

Used to be one of the best coffee shops in Saigon. I like this painting and pictures old Saigon. Unfortunately Bobby Brewers is still high priced. They gave little syrup and wanted 10,000 VND for more. A big ripoff.

Yummm….those pancakes look good. I’ve only had the pancakes at Stella’s which are not bad….but they’re really thin….more like a crepe than a pancake really. Maybe time to try out Bobby Brewers :).

Long time no see. How are things Tung? Yep, the were good American pancakes but they were pretty skimp on the syrup. Try Black Cat, much better and they do not charge extra for syrup.

Hey Kevin, I’m doing well thanks. I decided to try out a business idea that I’ve been working on. It’s simple but hasn’t been done yet in Vietnam. I’d regret not trying it out before I left. Shhhhhhhh….it’s a secret. 🙂 I’ll let you know about it when I’m closer to getting everything up and running.

Gotta try out Black Cat sometime. I heard their burgers were killer. I’ve had Mogambo’s which is pretty good too.

Cool, so you are returning to VN then? 🙂

Returning? I never left. My initial plan was to only stay until December….which would be a full year, but I thought it would be interesting to try to start a business over here. VN is where China was 10-15 years ago. Of course it will never be China, but lots of opportunities for entrepreneurs still. Labor is still so cheap that it costs hardly nothing to try out a small business. I would regret not giving it a shot before I left.
