Privacy Policy
This policy explains what SAIGONNEZUMI (saigonnezumi.com) does with information about you. It was last updated on October 24, 2026.
Who is responsible
Kevin Miller, Jr. runs this site. For any question about this policy or your information, use the contact form.
What this site does not do
- It shows no advertising and works with no advertising partners.
- It sets no analytics or tracking cookies and does not share visit data with advertisers.
- It does not sell your information.
Cookies and browser storage
- Your choices. If you pick a light or dark theme, or answer the cookie and video notice, the choice is saved in your browser's local storage on your own device. It is never sent to the site's server, and you can clear it in your browser settings or with the "Cookie settings" button in the footer.
- Contact form. Opening the contact page sets one security cookie that protects the form against forged submissions. The form does not work without it. It is not used to identify or track you and expires after up to one year.
- Visit statistics and heatmaps. Umami, which measures visits and builds heatmaps, sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser (see "Visit statistics" below).
- Site editor. Only the site owner's login uses a session cookie. Visitors never get one.
Embedded videos (YouTube and Vimeo)
Some posts embed videos from YouTube or Vimeo. Nothing is loaded from those companies until you choose "Allow videos" in the cookie notice or press "Load video" on a single video. Once a video loads, the provider may set cookies and receives your IP address and details such as the page you are on, under its own privacy policy: Google and YouTube and Vimeo. If you decline, each video shows a link to watch it on the provider's site instead.
Contact form
If you write to me, I receive the name, email address and message you type. They are stored in the site's administration area and sent to my email by the email service Mailgun, which delivers the message on my behalf. I use them only to answer you. I keep a message for as long as I need it for that, and you can ask me to delete yours at any time.
Spam protection (Cloudflare Turnstile)
The contact page uses Cloudflare Turnstile to tell people from automated programs. It runs only on that page. To do its job, Cloudflare receives technical information from your browser, such as your IP address and browser details, under Cloudflare's privacy policy. This site sends Cloudflare only the check result, never what you type in the form. Without it the contact form cannot be sent.
Visit statistics (Umami)
This site measures visits with Umami, an analytics tool that runs on the site owner's own server (stats.rockypodno.de) rather than at an outside advertising or analytics company. It records which pages are viewed, where visitors came from, and their browser, device type and country. It also builds heatmaps: where visitors click, move and scroll on each page, so the site can be improved. It sets no cookies. The visits of the site's own editors, while signed in, are not counted.
Server logs
Like most websites, the server that delivers pages keeps standard technical logs, such as your IP address, the page requested, the time and your browser type. They are used to keep the site running and secure and are not used to track you across sites.
Search
Words you type into the site search are used to show results and are not saved.
Your rights
You may ask me what information I hold about you, ask me to correct or delete it, and object to how it is used. If you live in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you can also complain to your local data protection authority. Use the contact form to make a request.
Content and changes
I am not responsible for content from this site that is republished elsewhere without my permission. I may change this policy; the date above shows the latest update. If you have any questions, please contact me.
